You're The Platformer
You're the Platformer was created for the 2023 GMTK Game Jam under the theme Roles Reversed.
You're the Platformer is a puzzle game where you have to build platforms to help the player reach the goal. Instead of playing through preset levels as the player, you must build the levels out, using the limited supply of platforms available to you, to help the player reach the star. After completing all 12 levels, you can consider yourself a platform building master. If you ever forget the controls or are confused, holding H will explain the controls and the objective.
You're the Platformer was written in vanilla HTML and Javascript because I decided that it would be fun to try this without Unity. (This should explain why the iframe on itch is messed up unless you go to fullscreen)

Fun! Though once my player got stuck on the jumping platform with no way of going forward, I had no way to reset the level or undo, so it just keeps jumping.
You can hit enter to go back to edit mode. Hope that helps
